Basic Foundation International School, is a private school in Aba, Abia State. Established in 1999 by a visionary educationist, Chief. Mrs. Onuma, BFIS provides building blocks for children to excel through high quality performance, teaching and learning, in conducive 3 campus locations. BFIS provides top-tier educational direction from creche, through senior secondary school.

Located in a quiet street conducive for education and learning, our sprawling campus carters for junior primary 1 through senior secondary classes. On a separate campus, we carter to our reception and nursery classes. With state of the art equipment, labs, solar powered classrooms, quality teachers and management, BFIS is dedicated to equipping the child for tomorrow, and to sustainability.
With a tested curriculum and dedication to sciences and maths, BFIS students excel in all aspects of educational pursuits. Our curriculum comprises of a minimum of 18 required and optional subjects by the Nigerian Government, while drawing on international best practices to ensure our students are competitive , and at par with their international colleagues. Our senior secondary curiculmn includes Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry, French, Igbo, Geography, English, Civic Education, CRK, English, Government and others.
